The Sun Life Building is a historic 122 m (400 ft), 24 storey office building at Metcalfe Street on Dorchester Square. It was built in 1913 and competed in 1931. The first Sun Life Building was initially designed by Buffalo architect Richard Waite 1889 and subsequently expanded by Robert Findlay in 1890. Until 1913, the red brick building was home to Sun Life, when it moved to the first stage of the newer building.

Building with a real history! Did you know in the basement they kept gold from UK during the II World War! I would work in this building!

Gorgeous interior, excellent and professional staff and marvelous services available even if you aren't a native employee. The Italian cafe on the ground floor, Peroni, is fantastic! Also, I really like working here.

Really nice building to work in. Always clean, welcoming and well decorated. At the entrance there is a receptionist that can help you if you are a bit lost and dont know how where to go.There are a couple of restaurant and a cafeteria where it is possible to grab breakfast and/or lunch. Nice events are often organized in the hall at the ground floor, like sugar shack day where you can roll your maple lollipop or the ice cream day in the summer. Parking available close by.

Astonishing building. Could say it's the most magnificent in town. Once the largest structure within British Empire. During WW2 the gold and bonds of British government were stored in a secret safe in the basement of the building.
